Ken Myers is an active member of the Pembridge community and has lived in Lower Bearwood since 1999. His interest in politics, voluntary and community work has led him to become Chairman of the Pembridge Conservative Association, Chairman of the annual Pembridge Art Market, and most recently Vice Chairman of Pembridge Parish Council. He sees this last role in particular as an opportunity to encourage more members of the local population to participate and be proactive in improving their facilities and their environment, thereby enjoying a strong sense of community and achievement.
Ken is widely travelled, with trips to places such as the United States, New Zealand and the Gulf of Mexico already under his belt and Peru, Ecuador and the Galapagos Isles on the horizon. He also has a keen interest in practical gardening, enjoying the resulting fresh vegetables as much as the fresh air.
