Another Try For Luctonians Youth Rugby Club
Luctonians Youth Rugby Club has scored again with the Kingspan Insulation Community Trust resulting in funding of £1,600.
This funding is the outcome of another successful application made by the Club to the Kingspan Insulation Community Trust. The money received has been used to purchase 3 heavy duty Gazebos providing the children with temporary shelters at tournaments.
Mike Powell, spokesman for Luctonians said “Once again the Trust has been a huge help to the Club and these Gazebos are helping to provide healthy recreation for the whole junior section especially the younger section.”
He added “We hope that having the Gazebos to provide relief from the inclement weather will stop the children being put off by bad experiences in muddy exposed fields in freezing or wet conditions.”
John Garbutt, chairman of the Trust said; “The fact that this is the second time the Club has benefited from the Trusts funding just goes to show that there are numerous ways the four objectives set out by the trust can be met and we hope this encourages many more applications for the next round of grants.”
